Services for Grade School Students
PREP 3 provides Speech-Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy services to students with Down syndrome in Kindergarten to Grade Six. These services are funded by contracts with various school boards in the Calgary Rockyview Student Health Partnership. The PREP Program Board of Directors is committed to enabling any interested family of a child with Down syndrome to register. Government funding is augmented with charitable fundraising dollars to ensure all children with Down syndrome and their families can enjoy a warm welcome at PREP.

- Therapy is based on individual needs. Students with Down syndrome receive weekly individual or small group therapy.
- PREP believes that parents are their child's best teacher and therefore it is a requirement that parents observe therapy session and be a part of their child's learning.

- Watch and be a part of their child's growth and learning
Referral Pathway
If you are interested in registering your child with Down syndrome for a Student Health Partnership (SHP) funded therapy spot at PREP, please speak to your child's teacher and/or principal to request a SHP referral.
