Membership

As a member of The PREP Program, a Calgary Society to Promote Education for Children with Down Syndrome, you are entitled to the following privileges:

• voting privileges at all PREP Society general meetings,
• free monthly workshops,
• use of the resource library,
• subsidized social events and
• complimentary parking
• enrollment of your child in PREP’s programs

Membership is $75.00 CAD per year (September to August).

Notice of Fee Increase – Effective December 1, 2010.

The Board of Directors of The PREP Program has increased the annual Society Fee to *$75.00/year. There has been no increase for over 7 years, so it was agreed by all that the increase is timely and appropriate. We thank our members in advance for their understanding and encourage you to contact your President, Colleen Risdahl Hamilton, at risdahl@telusplanet.net or Executive Director, Barbara Tien, at execdirector@prepprog.org if you have any questions or comments. Families who are already registered at PREP will not pay the new fee until registering for Fall 2011. Families registering after November 30, 2010 are required to pay $75.00.

*Please note that members can request a waiver of the fee in the case of financial hardship. PREP is committed to welcoming all families.
